What You’ll Be Doing


As the CRA Data Analytics Manager, you’ll be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of CRA, HMDA, Small Business, and ESG data reporting and analytics. You’ll lead the development and implementation of processes to ensure data integrity, manage key data collection systems, and oversee the identification, qualification, and reporting of Community Development (CD) loans. Your work will support regulatory compliance and drive operational excellence through strategic data management.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Manage data reporting programs: Design, document, and implement data reporting programs for HMDA, Small Business, CRA, and ESG data in alignment with the bank’s risk culture.

  • Ensure accurate submissions: Manage the monthly processing and reporting of HMDA and CRA Small Business data, partnering with Compliance on annual submission requirements.

  • Oversee CD loan reporting: Lead the identification, review, and reporting process for community development loans, ensuring all data in Kadince is accurate and up to date.

  • Administer key platforms: Manage CRA Wiz and Kadince applications, including data imports, testing, and leading system enhancement initiatives.
    • Implement data controls: Document and maintain effective controls to safeguard the integrity of CRA, Small Business, and HMDA data.

  • Lead technology initiatives: Take ownership of system upgrades and technology projects that impact Community Development data systems.

  • Deliver data-driven solutions: Provide actionable insights through custom data reports and maps to support business decisions.

Who You Are

  • Educational background: You hold a college degree and bring 5–7 years of relevant experience in data management.

  • Technical expertise: You have experience with IBS, ACBC, CRA Wiz SaaS, and Kadince, along with a strong understanding of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA).

  • Advanced skills: You are highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau .

  • Purpose-driven leader: You take initiative and demonstrate strong organizational skills and accountability.

  • Strategic thinker: You bring critical and strategic thinking skills to your work and are proactive in identifying improvements.

  • Effective multitasker: You excel at managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with precision and focus.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Proven experience managing CRA, HMDA, and Small Business data systems

  • Deep understanding of compliance and regulatory data requirements

  • Strong technical capabilities with CRA Wiz, Kadince, and Excel

  • A process-oriented mindset with the ability to lead system improvements and ensure data integrity

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package.  This role has an expected salary range of $96,000 - $140,000 for the Chicago, IL market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.  The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. Additional total compensation and benefits details will be provided during the hiring process.
