Hiring Unit:
Department of Biology (Professor Rodrigo Reyes)
Position Summary:
- Assists in the interpretation of research data, and dissemination of results.
- Analyzes images obtained by other lab members.
- Codes for image analysis.
- Assists in the planning of the new generation of analysis protocols.
- Performs various administrative tasks related to the project.
- Maintains computer equipment.
Qualifications:
- Two years experience in image analysis.
- Team player.
Education/Experience:
- Pursuing BSc in Biology or Computer Science.
- Experience coding in Python.
- Machine learning experience is a strong asset.
- Experience with image analysis for fluorescence microscopy
Location: This position is located in Montreal, Quebec and the work for this position is expected to be performed in Quebec.
Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # (4) qualifier on a scale of 0-4.
