Job Description
 

Order to Cash Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as a Data Analyst across the Order To Cash team in Gilead to develop a long-term roadmap and implementation plan for the deployment of SAP master data management activities within Gilead and its associated affiliates.  This position will manage Data Requirements and Governance related to our Business Operations across Order to Cash. Candidate will play a key role ensuring end user success in SAP implementation by collaborating cross-functionally with program sponsors, process owners, and IT.   Additionally, the OTC Data Analyst will support Global Business Operations projects and change.

Master Data Governance refers to the process of managing and maintaining master data in a consistent, accurate, and reliable manner across the Gilead organization. It involves establishing rules, policies, roles and workflows to ensure the quality, integrity and lifecycle management of customer data. This data is foundational for processes across Sales, manufacturing, Supply chain and finance. This role will responsible for establishing the end to end linkages for master data between different process areas, and different systems.

JOB PURPOSE

This role focuses primarily on Customer master data, also involves responsibilities for related master data sets used in Order to Cash Transactions. Acts as the primary contact on (1) the governance and excellence of material/product master data standards, procedures through business processes and master data flows and (2) lead the roadmap for new structure aligned with local and global units and (3) ensuring cross functional alignment and identification of fundamental requirements for enhancing and sustaining Order to Cash master data quality and agility with local and global units.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Configuring the Master Data Management process through data modelling and business rules
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and policies
  • Analysis and co-ordination of large volume data extractions, transformations and loads.
  • Identify the issues and opportunities, drive solution in data Governance
  • Monitoring and ensuring data quality
  • Creating & regulating high level reliability and consistency through data
  • Investigate further automation potential to eliminate manual errors, as well as endorsing agility
  • Understand stakeholders’ needs and establish an optimum equilibrium in terms of integrating cross functional requirements to OTC processes.
  • Utilize business expertise to overcome challenges and ensure a sustainable OTC cycle through data integration.
  • Excel in Data Management processes and design further excellence actions through global best practices.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Preferably a major with analytics focus like Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics Engineering, Econometrics, Economics or related fields
  • At least some years of experience in Customer Services, Commercial Operations and/or Supply Chain is preferable.
  • Have understanding on data governance frameworks and practices
  • Experience in delivering data management projects is preferable
  • Knowledge in data/information modelling environment
  • Transforming technical knowledge into business language
  • Expertise in communication skills as well as influencing & persuading
  • Big data analysis skills is preferable
  • Experience in pharmaceutical operations/cGMP environment highly desirable
