Department Overview

The development of a new data business utilizing Rakuten's unique big data (Data Solution Business) was launched in January 2023.
In recent years, marketing research issues have become more sophisticated and complex as people's lives have become more diverse. The goal is to provide new value to customers in their overall marketing process by making complex use of more than 100 million pieces of big data connected by a common ID within the Rakuten Group.

Position Details

Responsibilities
Product and business development
- Research and explore business opportunities collaborating with Rakuten's internal and external services.
- Planning and executing project roadmap of new business
- Project management, including progress management and scope definition
- Coordination with internal and external stakeholders

Reporting to executive management
- Creating materials for discussion and reporting

Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in project management
Regardless of the size of the project, experience in cost and schedule coordination and quality control
- Hypothetical thinking
Ability to think hypothetically even with limited information, and to work toward a goal
- Communication skills
Explanation and negotiation skills to smoothly involve internal and external stakeholders

- Person who can proceed to achieve the goals

Additional information on English Qualification

TOEIC Score exceeding 800 (or similar level of English ability or a University Degree earned in an English-speaking country)
In this case, it is necessary to achieve a TOEIC Score exceeding 800 after joining Rakuten in order to be eligible to become a regular employee.
