Education Required: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics). Strong analytical skills and confidence in presenting findings and recommendations.

General Description:

The Advanced Analytics team at BeOne is seeking a Data Science Intern with a curiosity-driven mindset and interest in applying predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and data storytelling to real-world oncology problems. You’ll be part of a collaborative team using data to improve patient outcomes and support BeOne’s growth as a data-driven organization.

As a member of the team, you’ll support ongoing projects, conduct exploratory analyses, and assist in developing data products under guidance from experienced data scientists. This role offers exposure to high-impact projects in oncology, mentorship, and the opportunity to learn from a diverse team of analytics and industry experts.

Essential Functions of the Internship:

  • Assist in data exploration and statistical analysis to identify actionable insights for product and brand strategies.

  • Support cross-functional collaborations to gather data needs and help define key performance metrics.

  • Help build and validate predictive models and algorithms under supervision.

  • Contribute to the design and execution of analytical experiments

  • Stay current with evolving tools, techniques, and best practices in data science.

  • Present findings in clear, concise formats for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Travel:  No

Computer Skills:   

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data analysis. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations. Knowledge of Dataiku Data Science Studio is a plus

Supervisory Responsibilities:  

No Coursework or project experience in data science, machine learning, or statistical analysis. Familiarity with Python, R, or SQL. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate technical ideas clearly.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics).

Pay Range:

$27.50/hr (bachelors)

$38.50/hr (masters)

$40.50/hr (PhD)

Salary Range: $ - $ per hour

Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process.  Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
