Digital Transformation Team Lead/Manager

The position

We are seeking a visionary and highly skilled AI Team Lead/Manager to spearhead this transformative journey within our Digital Transformation department. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape our AI strategy, lead the development of impactful in-house AI solutions to grow our business.

Leading the Development and Evolution of the AI Insights Project

• Overseeing project design and development and driving its continuous improvement and expansion. Initially, the project focuses on analyzing Salesforce data to extract meaningful insights that can inform strategic decision-making across the organization. Gradually, it will ingest more business data from JIRA, Hubspot, My OPSWAT to make it more useful.
• The role requires a deep understanding of our business operations to effectively translate raw data into clear, concise, and actionable intelligence. The ultimate goal is to evolve the AI Insights tool into a comprehensive "oracle" capable of answering a wide array of questions and providing critical statistics about our business operations
• Work with design team to make the app intuitive to use and mobile friendly
• Create & maintain APIs so AI Insights can be leveraged by other platforms
• Continue to develop our custom Teams integration to provide insights through Teams chat and on-the-go

Managing and Expanding the Company's Chatbot Platform

• Responsible for the development, continuous improvement and maintenance for 15+ chatbots deployed for customer support, sales engagement, the IT Service Desk, and various internal applications on Botpress.
• Develop custom extensions for chatbot to expand its capabilities, such as file upload integration for our MFT product, extensions to integrate with AI Insights, extensions to leverage our data lake.
• Train and fine-tune a custom LLM model with deep understanding of OPSWAT products and cybersecurity world.

Research & Propose Innovative Solutions:  exploring and implementing novel AI techniques and solutions rather than relying solely on off-the-shelf products.

• Leading and Mentoring the Digital Transformation Team: responsible for building, leading, and mentoring a team of talented AI engineers as well as front-end and back-end deve
• Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: work closely with business teams (Sales, Marketing, HR, Engineering, CX, etc.) to understand their business process and propose areas where AI can improve their efficiency and performance.

What We Need From You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Generative AI, LLM, Machine Learning and web app development.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing and growing software engineering teams.
• Experience chatbot development platforms (Botpress, Microsoft Bot Framework, etc.)
• Experience in training custom LLMs
• Experience in Vector Databases and RAG
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
• Good communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages relevant to each project area: React, Python, Javascript, Node.js

It Would Be Nice if You Have

• Certifications in AWS and Azure architecture
• Experience in data lake technologies (e.g., Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics).
• Experience in designing customer support/customer service chatbots.
• Experience in using CRM Platforms like Salesforce, Hubspot, Netsuite
