Researcher – Agentic AI

Huawei Canada has an immediate 12-month contract opening for a Researcher.

About the team:

Founded in 2012, the Noah’s Ark lab has evolved into a prominent research organization with notable achievements in academia and industry. The lab’s mission focuses on advancing artificial intelligence and related fields to benefit the company and society. Driven by impactful, long-term projects, the aim is to enhance state-of-the-art research while integrating innovations into the company's products and services, including LLMs, RL, NLP, computer vision, AI theory, and Autonomous driving.

About the job:

• Research and develop innovative agent frameworks and algorithms.

• Survey the recent development in the related field and proactively communicate with the team members.

• Perform experiments and evaluate, analyze and drive insights from experiments.

Requirements

About the ideal candidate:

• A Ph.D. or a Master. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Hands-on project experiences on AI Agent Builder frameworks such as Lang Graph, Autoagent, OpenManus etc.

• Deep understanding of AI agents, Agentic Orchestration, Multi-Agent Workflow Automation.

• Strong AI/ML coding skills in Python; experienced with Pytorch.

• Good communication skills, willingness to collaborate and self-motivated.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
