Role Overview
As an Analytical Brand Strategist, you’ll help brands uncover their true potential by transforming data into actionable insights and crafting stories that resonate with clients and consumers. This role emphasizes data-driven storytelling, cultural analysis, and strategic thinking, requiring a deep understanding of brands, consumer culture, and market trends globally, with a particular focus on the US, as well as strong English writing skills to deliver impactful recommendations.

What You’ll Do
Uncover Strategic Insights:
Analyze and interpret data to uncover key insights that address challenges of clients to unlock opportunities for growth for them. Leverage your understanding of brands, consumer behaviors, and market trends globally as well as within the US to create insights that are both culturally relevant and actionable.
Tell Compelling Stories:
Craft clear, actionable narratives that transform complex data into strategic recommendations, helping clients understand how insights align with their goals. Leverage strong English communication skills to create culturally nuanced and strategic stories that resonate with clients with different backgrounds.
Leverage Data Tools & Analytics:
Use BAV Group's proprietary tools to explore brand equity, perceptions and loyalty across different categories and audiences. Understand and contribute to statistical analyses using tools like Excel and SPSS. Focus on interpreting data primarily through US as well as global cultural lenses to deliver meaningful strategic insights.
Present Insights Effectively:
Deliver findings clearly, engage with internal stakeholders and participate in client meetings. Tailor presentations and narratives to reflect US market dynamics while considering relevant global trends and cultural contexts.
Design Brand Studies:
Create impactful questionnaires, research frameworks, and sampling strategies that reveal insights into consumer behavior, brand perceptions, and market trends.
Collaborate Across Teams:
Work with cross-functional teams, contributing to strategic brainstorming, project discussions, and collaborative problem-solving.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong interest in branding, marketing strategy, and data-driven storytelling, with deep understanding of US markets while considering global brand influences
- A proactive, curious mindset with a desire to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment.
- Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, impactful messages that reflect cultural nuances and resonate with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Excel and tools like PowerPoint is required. Familiarity with SPSS, Python, or similar statistical tools or coding languages is a plus but not mandatory.
- Skilled at interpreting large datasets and translating insights into cultural contexts, with primary focus on US markets while considering global implications, emphasizing actionable outcomes over purely technical analysis.
- Experience or interest in developing questionnaires, designing research studies, and creating sampling plans to inform brand strategy and consumer insights.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts, tools, and methodologies to adapt to evolving project needs.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
