Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Job Description
This position sits within Media Group Decision Sciences, a team with a charter to provide valuable insights that enable decision-making across NBCU’s TV networks, FAST channels, and Peacock. In this high-impact role, you’ll deliver actionable insights that shape deal-making strategies with major distributors. You’ll dive into audience data, identify industry trends, and lead performance reporting for NBCU’s growing FAST business. Responsibilities
- Partner with the NBCUniversal Content Distribution Group to develop data-driven insights supporting distribution deal negotiations with external partners.
- Leverage third-party data sources (e.g., Nielsen) and internal expertise to create compelling content strategy and product positioning materials.
- Develop and maintain recurring reports tracking marketplace and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Lead analytics and performance reporting for NBCUniversal’s FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) business, including the creation of executive-level dashboards and insights.
- Collaborate with Data Products and Technology teams to enhance reporting infrastructure and drive scalable, automated analytics solutions.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline analysis, improve reporting accuracy, and surface strategic insights across distribution channels.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in media, insights, strategy, consulting, or a related function (exposure to media industry highly preferred).
- Proven experience with audience measurement tools (e.g., Nielsen, Comscore) and syndicated research.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Requirements
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
