Network Engineer III

Our Core Engineering department is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure Operations team in New York. 

Responsibilities

• Working with the AMER working group and global Networks team to monitor and troubleshoot the network
• Providing network support for production, office, and end-user environments
• Performing moves, adds, and changes in the network
• Performing market connectivity tests and circuit migrations

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with complex, high performance networks with multiple sites (data centers and/or trading facilities)
• Significant knowledge of client-server architectures and network design
• Experience in supporting and troubleshooting large networks
• The ability to work in a fast paced, critical production environment
• Knowledge of Arista EOS and Cisco NX-OS/IOS
• Knowledge of Layer1 devices (Metamako or Exablaze)
• Knowledge of routing protocols including OSPF, MSDP, and PIM
• Significant knowledge of BGP and multicast
• Knowledge of VPN configuration and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Network monitoring tools such as Nagios, Grafana, Wireshark and SNMP
• Knowledge of network security and firewalls
• CCNP certified and Systems administration experience (preferred)
• Experience building tools for infrastructure automation using Python
• Experience with Netmiko, Napalm, and Nornir network libraries
• Experience with network configuration management tools similar to Ansible or Salt
• Experience with configuration templating tools (CUE or Jinja)
• Knowledge of of DCIM/IPAM tools similar to Netbox or Nautobot
• Good knowledge of Linux

Anticipated annual base salary range USD $175,000 - $200,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus
