What You’ll Build:

As a Data Architect at CSpring, you’ll lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures that fuel insights and innovation. You’ll work in a consultative capacity with both technical teams and business leaders, helping clients across sectors define and execute their data strategies.
 

You’ll have strategic influence over enterprise data initiatives and the autonomy to lead from vision to execution. Your work will not only guide technical solutions but also shape long-term business outcomes. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to executives and contribute to CSpring’s internal growth through mentorship and practice leadership.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect modern data solutions using Azure, AWS, or Snowflake platforms.
• Design data warehouse and data lake/lakehouse environments for analytics, reporting, and data science.
• Develop data models and metadata strategies that enable trusted, reusable insights.
• Create strategies for master data management, governance, and data quality.
• Lead secure, scalable ETL/ELT pipeline implementations (Azure Data Factory, Talend, Informatica, etc.).
• Guide clients through data modernization efforts including migration, integration, and platform selection.
• Lead data strategy workshops and serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders.
• Translate business objectives into scalable technical architectures.
• Define and enforce architecture standards and governance frameworks.
• Support data cataloging, lineage, and compliance (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA, CJIS).
• Mentor and elevate team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Contribute to the evolution of CSpring’s internal architecture practice and methodologies.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend innovations that align with CSpring’s mission.

Qualifications:

We’re looking for a strategic thinker and hands-on technologist who thrives on solving complex data challenges, advising leaders, and driving lasting change. You care deeply about building systems that unlock insight—and elevate others in the process.   

Required:

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
• Proven expertise designing cloud-based data platforms (Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• Experience building secure, automated pipelines and integrating enterprise systems.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and performance optimization.
• Experience implementing governance and metadata management solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL and a scripting language (e.g., Python).
• Strong understanding of compliance, privacy, and security in cloud data environments.
• 3+ years in a consulting/professional services role engaging across industries.
• Proven ability to advise executive stakeholders and drive alignment between business and technology.
• Experience leading client engagements from vision through execution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred:

• Experience in public sector, healthcare, life sciences, education, or nonprofit industries.
• Certifications: Azure Data Engineer, AWS Big Data Specialty, CDMP, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
• Interest in contributing to thought leadership (e.g., speaking, writing, forums).
