The Newmark Occupier Solutions (OS) Director of Data and Analytics develops, implements, and keeps business intelligence and reports for our service delivery teams. This role also includes support for the Continuous Improvement program by using data to enhance account/internal process automation and productivity improvements.

This role has client-facing engagements and requires regular collaboration with senior management, plus multiple stakeholders across OS service lines. The Director will be the primary point of contact for data and analytics activities and will support account management teams to meet and exceed client commitments.

Essential Duties:

  • Work with account teams to standardize KPI reporting and account performance metrics.
  • Oversee Customer Satisfaction (MPS) design, automation, and maintenance.
  • Maintain playbooks and process maps for all development and maintenance initiatives.
  • Support the program management of non-capital continuous improvement projects both client-facing and internal.
  • Monitor all phases of Data and Analytics projects and promptly address any changes to the original scope of services and the impact to the project schedule and budget. Continually assess program & project needs and resourcing to complete programs & projects successfully.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to ensure database configuration, reporting and necessary reporting are available.
  • Develop and keep a library for Data & Analytics materials and playbooks.
  • Prepare meeting notes and agendas for program and project status meetings.
  • Support the Continuous Improvement program and work with account teams with ongoing process enhancements as well as audit and compliance.
  • Collaborate with account teams on data quality, reporting, and training.
  • As required, support contract development & negotiations with client legal, internal Newmark legal and others, as necessary.
  • Continuously improve the Data & Analytics program, finding and solving issues & mitigating inefficiencies.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of staff planning and management development programs to meet on-going management and professional requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degrees in data analytics, business intelligence, data science a plus.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in data and analytics field.
  • Relentless commitment to solving issues and low tolerance for delays.
  • Program management skills with the ability to oversee/run multiple, simultaneous projects.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, find dependencies, and visualize and end to end program plans.
  • Ability to find problems, risks, roadblocks; develop solutions, mitigations and implement them.
  • Navigating in a complex matrix organization and the ability to hold team members accountable to deliver quality work on time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and experience presenting to different audiences – client facing, senior leaders, as well as project teams.
  • Understanding of account governance, continuous improvement, KPIs, and metrics.
  • Proficient in MS suite including Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, Visio, and the usual office tools.
  • Competent in Smartsheet preferred.
  • Effective communication, team building and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop and support positive relationships with all stakeholders.

 

Work Setting:

  • Geography - Americas preferred.
  • Work Location - Remote with ad hoc in office collaboration.
  • Travel - Light travel, 3-4 trips annually.
