Job Description

BI Developer (Hybrid)

Location:

Requirements:

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems or Information Technology and 2 years of experience developing standard, custom, and automated reports within PowerBi Suite or Tableau that summarize Supply Chain, business, and/or IT data.
  • Must have experience: Converting Excel-based, manual reporting to automated reports and dashboards utilizing data warehouse, data assets, and SQL.; Creating and designing executive-level dashboards using PowerBi or Tableau data visualization tools.; Designing, developing, testing, and promoting sustainable business intelligence reporting solutions within the On-Premise and Cloud BI reporting environments.; Utilizing scrum agile methodologies, gap analysis, SDLC, and data mining principles to develop data identification processes within PowerBi.; and Hybrid work model (60% at the office/40% WFH - monthly based).

Job Duties:

  • Design and develop business intelligence (BI) data solutions that turn data into actionable insights.
  • Work closely with the BI Reporting Manager and Lead BI Developers to understand technical and functional data requirements and oversee the design, creation, and support of all data solutions ensuring data integrity, security, stability, and fluidity of information throughout the dashboard lifecycle.
  • Analyze, manipulate, and/or process large sets of data using analysis software like Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and BI tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, and Excel.  
  • Develop standard and custom reports within PowerBi Suite that summarize Supply Chain, business, IT, and financial data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Create and design executive-level dashboards using PowerBi data visualization tools.
  • Provide in-house support to the IT team in devising and implementing business and IT strategy projects that advance data capabilities through identification and analysis of key business data in PowerBi.
  • Gather requirements, design, develop, test, and promote sustainable business intelligence reporting solutions within the On-Premise and Cloud BI reporting environments.
  • Support key cost efficiency, supply chain, sales, IT and Manufacturing related business intelligence solutions.
  • Utilize scrum agile methodologies, gap analysis, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and data mining principles to develop processes within PowerBi for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources.
  • Contribute to the design, documentation, development, deployment, and support of data using visualization tools.
  • Create sustainable dashboards to include KPIs, tables, advanced visualizations, job schedules, and other web-based reporting objects.
  • Identify or monitor current and potential customers, using business intelligence tools.
  • Convert Excel-based, manual reporting to automated reports and dashboards utilizing data warehouse and data assets.
  • Apply understandings of data and analytics standards and strategy to assist with the facilitation of Self-Service analytics offering.
  • Utilize JIRA and ServiceNow project management tools to document and track data and analytics continuous improvement projects.
  • Analyze and debug report/application issues quickly and effectively. Hybrid work model (60% at the office/40% WFH - monthly based).
