As we bring our solution across Europe, we’re looking for our first Data Engineers to help shape a reliable and scalable data foundation. Data is the backbone of elvah’s mission. Every day, we collect and process data from hundreds of thousands of charging points across Europe. Our first Data Engineers will be instrumental in transforming that data into high-quality, trustworthy insights for our customers, powering smarter decisions in EV infrastructure and accelerating the energy transition.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with analysts, backend engineers, and platform experts to design and implement robust ETL pipelines.
  • Ingest and enrich data from APIs, cloud platforms, and databases into our new lakehouse infrastructure.
  • Build data models and storage systems that support analytics and machine learning for customer-facing applications.
  • Introduce testing, monitoring, and validation to ensure data quality and system reliability.
  • Document your processes clearly and collaborate across teams to ensure transparency and shared understanding.

Your Profile

Experience:

  • Proficiency in programming skills in Python
  • Knowledge in database systems ( SQL and NoSQL)
  • Hands-on experience in cloud data warehouses 
  • Comfortable designing ETL/ELT processes and debugging tricky pipeline issues.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills - you’ll work closely with analysts and engineers.
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented, and always ready to adapt to change.
  • Bonus: Experience with testing data pipelines or working in early-stage teams.

Full compensation packages are based on interview outcome, candidate experience and qualifications.

Salary range for this job:€68.000—€73.000 EURWhy elvah
