Introduction 

As part of the Customer Solutions & Support organization (CS&S), Customer Support is the bridge to our customers. The CS Organization enables our customers' success by supporting directly their fabs to ensure their tools operate at the highest capacity every day. We, the CS Applications and Business Support (CS ABS) department, operates across the ASML holistic triangle, supporting all Business Lines, to provide customers with support and solutions at every stage of the chipmaking process to enhance our products and services and meet our customers' current and future needs. Your assignment 

With this internship you will help us to improve the reliability of the Yieldstar systems. Specifically you would be investigating Mean Time Between Incidents (MTBI) which is a reliability metric used to estimate the average amount of time that a system operates between two consecutive failures. Your assignment will focus on the following aspects (1) Deep dive into MTBI hits over the fleet 2) Analyze the dependency of MTBI hits on customer, usage and software versions over time (3) The generation a user friendly Spotfire dashboard to link the various hits over fleet, corresponding solutions and labor hour impact. 

  

Your Profile 

To be a perfect match for this internship, you: 

  • Are a bachelor or master student with educational background in Business management, (Industrial) Engineering or similar education; 

  • Have proficient experience in Data Analysis and good analytical skills;

  • Have basic Spotfire or PowerBI skills;

  • Are self-driven and like to work in a technical environment, are eager to learn, structured, independent with a pro-active attitude; 

  • Have good communication skills and are fluent in English both verbally and in writing. 
     

​This is a bachelor graduation project or a master apprentice internship with a duration of 6 months, minimum 3 days per week (1+ days on site). The start date of this internship in September 2025 the latest. 
 

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

  • Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;

  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
