The role in detail

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer (AI & Machine Learning) to help take advanced AI prototypes into production — across use cases like agentic systems, NLP, and real-time inference. You'll build the infrastructure and APIs that bring cutting-edge research into real-world, reliable, scalable systems.

This role spans system architecture, performance optimization, and ML-enabling infrastructure — deployed in cloud or on-premises environments

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Build and scale AI/ML systems from prototype to production
• Design, implement, and integrate APIs for training, inference, and data flows
• Develop secure, high-performance execution environments and containers
• Create and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines
• Collaborate with researchers and infra teams to meet technical and research needs
• Take full ownership of projects, from architecture to delivery
• Mentor junior engineers and drive engineering best practices

To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):

• 5+ years in software engineering (backend, systems, or infra)
• Proficient in Python and async/concurrent programming
• Strong experience designing and integrating production-grade APIs
• Hands-on with Docker and containerized environments
• Experience with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Strong performance optimization and systems programming background
• Solid understanding of inference systems, model deployment, and data processing
• Clear communicator, able to work cross-functionally with ML and infra teams

Desired Certifications:

• Exposure to LLMs, NLP, or agent-based AI architectures
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and infrastructure automation tools
• Understanding of SLO/SLA practices, observability, and distributed systems
• Experience with GPU acceleration or other ML hardware
