Senior Manager, Asia Operations Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Regional Operations team. The successful candidate will focus on risk and control automation, leveraging data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across the Asia segment markets. The candidate will report to the Head of Ops Data Insights and Low Code Automation. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical background and experience in implementing data-driven solutions to manage and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with regional operations and risk management teams to identify and implement automation opportunities in risk and control processes.

· Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to support risk analysis and decision-making.

· Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that may indicate risks or inefficiencies.

· Design and maintain automated processes for data collection, cleaning, and analysis to improve risk assessment quality and accuracy.

· Work with IT and stakeholders to integrate automated solutions into existing systems and workflows, ensuring optimal performance.

· Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.

· Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics, risk management, and automation.

· Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures.

· Lead risk-based process mapping sessions to create workflows, identify risks and controls, and assess control effectiveness.

· Develop procedures to identify and report operational errors and loss events, and lead test development and implementation.

· Strengthen data analytics capabilities to identify operational and process gaps.

Experience and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

· Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in an operations or risk management setting.

· Strong proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, or similar.

· Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

· Familiarity with risk management frameworks and practices.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

· Experience in process automation and knowledge of relevant technologies (e.g., RPA or Power Automate) is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage stakeholders and work collaboratively

• Resilient, able to handle multiple priorities and time-manage effectively

• Self-driven, able to meet objectives with a minimal amount of managerial oversight

• Excellent command of English (verbal and written). Proficiency in other Asian language would be a plus.
