We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied working student occupation in the area of AI für CAE simulations.

What awaits you?

• You develop and maintain AI models for industry-standard simulation tools.
• Furthermore you integrate AI models and algorithms into the simulation workflow.
• You collect and analyze simulation data to assess the performance of AI systems.
• You assist in the design and implementation of experiments to test AI capabilities.
• The sharing of the findings from the document simulation workflows with the research team completes your profile.

What should you bring along? 

• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., computer science, engineering).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++.
• Background in numerical simulations.
• Strong background on deep learning libraries, e.g. PyTorch, Tensorflow.
• Experience with Graph-Neural-Networks (GNNs) ideally for mesh-based simulations.
• Familiarity with existing GNN libraries, e.g. PyG, NVIDIA PhysicsNeMo.
• Ideally experience with GPU-accelerated computing in AWS or Azure.
