Compensation:

• Salary Range: BDT 30,000 - BDT 50,000

• Bi-Annual Salary Increment (Eligibility Condition Applies).

• 2 Times Yearly Festival Bonus (Eligibility Condition Applies).

Job Overview:

The Risk & Operational Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring platform security, monitoring transactions, and mitigating financial risks. This position focuses on analyzing client activities, identifying suspicious patterns, and enhancing risk control measures. The candidate will work closely with the Compliance, Trading, and Operations teams to maintain a secure and transparent trading environment. Utilizing data analytics tools like Power BI, SQL, and Python, will assess vulnerabilities and improve risk strategies. Their expertise will help prevent fraud, strengthen client profiling, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role is essential for minimizing operational disruptions, enhancing platform integrity, and supporting sustainable business growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Strong analytical & investigative skills with a proactive mindset

• Experience in risk monitoring, fraud prevention, or operational surveillance

• Manage and oversee the trading platform to ensure seamless operation, stability, and optimal performance.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to platform functionality, execution, and connectivity to ensure uninterrupted operations.

• Experienced in risk monitoring, fraud prevention, and operational surveillance, with a strong ability to manage data processing, visualization, and trend analysis to enhance risk control.

• Ensure prompt response and efficient resolution of platform-related issues to maintain seamless operations.

• Proficiency in Notion, Clickup, Excel, Google Sheets, and data analysis tools (Power BI, SQL, Python).

• Understanding of risk controls, client profiling, and financial security protocols.

• Continuously optimize platform efficiency, execution flow, and automation while maintaining the ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory compliance requirements, and emerging technologies to ensure adherence to best practices and continuous innovation.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science Engineering.

• Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. 

Having 1-2 years of experience in risk management, fraud monitoring, or market surveillance will be preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical skills, with experience solving problems using data and providing practical business insights.

• Qualities of mature thinking, dependability, and minimum supervision.

• Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.

• Fluent in verbal and written English to a business standard.
