About the Team

The Product Analytics Team at Bluberi serves as a critical backbone to our innovative efforts in the gaming industry. We are an integral part of the Research & Development process, providing valuable insights that drive better product development. Beyond R&D, we collaborate closely with the Sales team to ensure the effective commercialization of those products.

Summary

In this pivotal role, you'll analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights that will inform key internal stakeholders. Your expertise will have a direct impact on our Research & Development and Sales teams, aiding them in making data-driven decisions that enhance our product offerings and customer experiences. Not only will you share these invaluable insights with our internal teams, but you'll also communicate them to our customers to optimize product performance.

As the driving force behind our industry-leading performance optimization platform, you'll ensure the best possible performance of Bluberi products across all customer locations. Hands-on experience with Tableau is essential, as it's our primary tool for business intelligence and data visualization.

Essential Functions:

Product Performance Analysis

  • Partner with product development teams to provide insights that inform game design, features, and placement strategies
  • Monitor and analyze gaming trends, market conditions, and competitor performance to provide actionable insights
  • Produce detailed reports on coin-in, handle pulls, session duration, and occupancy rates to guide both operational decisions and long-term game creation strategies
  • Identify emerging player preferences (e.g., high-volatility slots, immersive video features, or classic mechanical reels) to influence the thematic and mechanical direction of future slot releases
  • Manage test bank reporting and analysis by overseeing slot game tests, tracking key performance indicators and analyzing data to validate game viability

Gaming Operations Analysis

  • Help drive performance by optimizing slot floor revenue through data-driven machine placement, denomination adjustments, and floor layout strategies that maximize coin-in and net profit
  • Develop forecasting models to predict revenue trends, identify high-yield opportunities, and minimize losses from underperforming assets
  • Support capital expenditure decisions by delivering ROI projections and break-even analyses for slot-related investments, ensuring alignment with long-term financial objectives

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics in a professional setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
  • Strong knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is a plus.
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with SQL for database querying and data manipulation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools is required, with a special emphasis on proficiency in Tableau.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Familiarity with the casino gaming industry is considered a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and/or R for advanced data analysis.
  • Strong statistical analysis skills, including but not limited to regression analysis, cluster analysis, and hypothesis testing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with both internal teams and external customers.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when handling complex data and making recommendations.
  • Prior experience in roles requiring client or customer interactions, especially in presenting data-driven insights.

Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least ten (10) pounds, and prolonged instances of sitting during the shift

Immigration Law Compliance  

Bluberi is committed to full compliance with the federal immigration laws.  These laws require all individuals to complete an employment eligibility verification procedure when hired.  All new Team members are required to electronically complete and sign an I-9 form and furnish original documentation for proof of identity and proof of eligibility to work in the United States within (3) business days of their first day of employment.  Changes in immigration status must be reported to HR as soon as they occur.

Employment Classification 

To determine eligibility for benefits and overtime status and to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, Bluberi uses the following classifications.  Employment classifications are based on the guidelines of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and, as circumstances dictate, Bluberi may review or change employment classifications at any time.  

Exempt:  Exempt Team members are paid on a salary basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.  

Non-exemptNon-exempt Team members are paid on an hourly basis and are eligible to receive overtime pay for overtime hours worked.  

Regular, full time: Team members who are not in a temporary status and work a minimum of 30 hours weekly and maintain continuous employment status.  These Team members are eligible for the full-time benefits package and are subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations of each benefits program.  

Regular, part time:  Team members who are not in a temporary status and who are regularly scheduled to work less than 30 hours weekly, but at least 20 hours weekly, and who maintain continuous employment status. Part-time Team members are eligible for some of the benefits offered by the company and are subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations of each benefits program.  

Temporary, full-time:  Individuals who are hired as interim workers to temporarily supplement the workforce or to assist in the completion of a specific project and who are temporarily scheduled to work the company’s full-time schedule for a limited duration.
