Job Description

We are seeking an innovative and analytical BI Consultant to join our team in Nieuwegein, Netherlands. As a BI Consultant, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients solve complex data challenges and make informed decisions through actionable insights.

  • Collect and analyse data from various sources to develop comprehensive business intelligence solutions
  • Design, develop, and optimise user-friendly dashboards and reports using cutting-edge BI tools
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective data visualisations
  • Implement best practices in data modelling and visual design to enhance the quality of reports and visualisations
  • Optimise datasets and improve dashboard performance for efficient data processing
  • Provide expert guidance and coaching to colleagues and clients on BI best practices and methodologies
  • Contribute to the strategic vision and development of our BI practice and unit
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in business intelligence and data visualisation

Qualifications

  • HBO or WO degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with at least one of the following BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or D3.js
  • Proven track record in optimising dashboard performance and implementing visual design principles
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present insights clearly
  • Proficiency in data warehousing concepts and SQL
  • Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C# is advantageous
  • Knowledge of UX design principles is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch (required) and English
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coach colleagues and clients
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach and keen attention to detail
  • Experience in various industries and ability to understand diverse business contexts
  • Willingness to push boundaries in digital transformation and technology consulting

  • A permanent contract and a gross monthly salary between €3,000 and €6,000 (based on 40 hours per week). The exact amount depends on your experience and the role;
  • 8% holiday allowance;

  • 8% profit sharing on target (or a fixed OTB amount, depending on the role);
