The Sr. MDM Data Engineer is a senior staff member of Data Solutions Delivery team. This role will lead the digital transformation of operational and foundational Master Data Management roadmaps to build and support the MDM platform developing and maintaining the master data management system, including data integration, data modeling and data migration. It will also lead to designing and implementing the overall MDM architecture and interfaces, including critical data integration, data modeling, and data migration for both customer data and enterprise data.

We are looking for an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Platform Engineer who will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our Master Data Management platform, leveraging Reltio software. In this role the candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand the data requirements in the Payer space, and ensure the platform is configured to meet business objectives. This role will work in close collaboration with the Data Architect to craft and deploy scalable MDM solutions.



Responsibilities

  • Designs and develops data ingestion and transformation pipelines in order to publish data for consumption 
  • Follows best practices and architecture patterns as part of all implementations
  • Builds deep understanding of healthcare data domains thru process ownership, data exploration and hands-on SQL development

  • Designs & develops data quality, data masking, data curation & extraction processes for appropriate data usage
  • Provides operational support to high severity issues and incidents impacting critical data pipelines
  • Ideates & builds common data processing utilities leveraging modular development methodologies
  • Delivers high quality and scalable code with automated test coverage
  • Helps grow and mentors team members on the fine art of data engineering and software abstractions
  • Design, implement and maintain our MDM solution. Configure data models, workflows, and integration services within the Reltio platform.
  • Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality.
  • Ensure seamless data synchronization and consolidation across disparate systems.
  • Implement data quality processes and tools within Reltio to identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplicates and errors.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and KPIs to ensure data quality improvement.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management - collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, and technical teams to gather requirements, define data governance policies and resolve data related issues.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to align MDM initiatives with business objectives.
  • Implement performance tuning techniques and scalability enhancements as needed.
  • Document Reltio platform configurations, data models, integration processes, and governance policies.
  • Provide training and support to end users, data stewards, and Digital staff on Reltio best practices and procedures.
  • Offer on-demand technical assistance to end users as needed.


 

Required Technical Skills

  • Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated experience implementing data management platforms for MDM, such as Reltio
  • 4+ years of experience with SQL or NoSQL databases like Postgres, Oracle, MongoDB
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience working with data architecture and data engineering. Possess deep understanding of reference data.
  • At least 3+ years with integrating data management systems, including mastering solutions, with different data vendor feeds.
  • Possess a demonstrated track record in large-scale data modeling and the implementation of efficient ETL/ELT strategies.
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions and a strong understanding of their architecture.
  • Experience with Data Quality Functional, Data Integration, Reltio Data Quality Module, Reltio Reference Data Management (RDM).
  • Possess extensive experience in data quality functional, ensuring high standards of data accuracy.
  • Have a strong background in data integration, enabling seamless integration of various data sources.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Reltio Data Quality Module to enhance data quality processes.
  • Exhibit strong knowledge of Reltio MDM solutions for effective master data management.
  • Have a solid understanding of MDM functional and MDM architecture principles.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address data-related issues.
  • Have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
  • Possess the ability to train and mentor team members on best practices.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing data quality issues.

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.

Salary Range: $136,393.40 - $166,870.00


The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.  An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

This job is also eligible for variable pay.
