Lead AI Engineer

You have the opportunity to take our development of AI and machine learning initiatives to a new level. You see yourself as a hands-on expert, responsible for architecting, building, and operationalizing AI-driven systems that deliver tangible business value. This role combines deep technical execution with cross-functional collaboration, bridging data science, software engineering, and business strategy. Developing AI-driven software is a core strategic initiative in Element Logic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the AI roadmap: Take part in shaping it from idea to impact, we have plenty of opportunities but must identify the ones contributing with real value.

• Build data ingestion and data transformation infrastructure. Develop, test, and deploy AI models

• Convert machine learning models into APIs so other applications can utilize it

• Contribute to our data platform, from data collection to valuable information that enables development of AI models and set them into production.

• Design and build core ML components and optimization engines; conduct code reviews, testing, and performance tuning in production systems.

• Be the bridge between science and strategy—translating complex technical solutions into measurable business outcomes. Partner closely with software engineers and business leaders to embed AI into core products and operations.

• Stay ahead of the curve: Champion the adoption of emerging technologies and methods in AI, data science and optimization.

• Lead by example: Mentor other data scientists and data engineers, to help foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Your Background:

• Master's or higher with 10+ years of relevant experience within the fields of machine learning, data science, data engineering, optimization and developing services in the cloud.

• Proven track record of delivering AI systems into production—not just models in notebooks, we solve complex real-world problems.

• Strong hands-on experience in Python and modern ML/AI toolkits.

• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and large-scale data platforms.

• Solid grasp of DevOps / MLOps best practices—CI/CD for models, monitoring, retraining and versioning.

• Experience with developing intelligent software products in the cloud.
