A Brief Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Data and Analytics to join our team. The Director, Data and Analytics is an experienced and strategic-minded individual that drives the development and execution of strategic Data and Analytics (D&A) initiatives, under the guidance of senior leadership and partners. This role requires a highly resourceful, driven individual with the ability to partner, execute, and lead through influence and collaboration across all areas of the business. This leadership role will be focused on high-level strategy, direction and support; ensuring the team excels with project management, and coordination to enable effective decision-making and execution of key initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scoping and evaluating third-party data vendors, leading various analytical projects, designing frameworks using data and AI models, and developing business cases to justify external data purchases and analytical solutions. This role requires a strong background in data analysis, AI/ML projects, and team leadership.

What you will do:
Vendor Evaluation and Data Integration:
- Scope and evaluate third-party data vendors to integrate with Trinet’s first-party data for various analytical and AI/ML projects.
- Projects include ideal customer profile, customer health score, propensity to buy, and churn modeling.
- Develop comprehensive business cases to justify the need for external data purchases and the development of analytical solutions.
- Present and communicate the value and ROI of these investments to stakeholders and decision-makers.
Project Leadership:
- Lead and manage analytical projects such as lead optimization, funnel analysis, next best actions and multi-touch attribution to improve top of the funnel demand and boost win rates.
- Guide a team of analysts from conceptualization to execution, ensuring project goals are met and deliverables are achieved.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data science solutions.
- Create and present compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure continuous monitoring and improvement of data quality and integrity.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data science and analytics.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data science, data analysis, or a related role, with at least 5 years' experience in B2B.
Skills and Abilities
- Experience in integrating and analyzing data from various sources, including first and third-party B2B data such as D&B, ZoomInfo, Bombora, Crunchbase, Gong, etc.
- Experience with creating integrations into Salesforce, Adobe, Outreach, Gong, and other sales and marketing tools.
- Experience with modeling Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP).
- Experience with churn propensity analysis.
- Experience with lead optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
- Proven track record of managing data science projects end-to-end.
- Ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to senior management.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

The salary range for this role is $122,200.00 to $268,900.00. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.
A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
