In this role of Sr Corrosion Planning Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of corrosion prevention databases maintain data accuracy and perform geospatial analysis and visualization.

Note: This is a 9-month Temporary(Fixed-Term) with 24 hour a week part-time hours.

What You Will Do:

  • Enhance data accuracy and integrity through adequate data governance implementation.

  • Improve auditing and traceability of corrosion prevention records in database and repositories

  • Support corrosion planning with data entries into database systems.

  • Complete data alignment and integration.

  • Design and implement database structures and new solutions.

  • Enhance geospatial analysis and visualization capabilities.

  • Introduce automation for routine GIS tasks.

Who You Are:

  • Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Database Manager or similar role.

  • Proficiency in GIS software such as Esri ArcGIS, and other geospatial tools.

  • Ability to write and use scripts in R and Python for spatial data analysis

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., PowerBI, SQL, NoSqL, Python).

  • Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS)

  • Ability to write and use scripts in R and Python for spatial data analysis
