Financial Data Analyst:

Experience: 5+ years 

Location: Karachi (On-site/ On-line)

Shift timings: 6 PM to 3 AM

I. Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst will collaborate with the Finance Teams to drive P&L management through advanced data analytics, automated reporting, and predictive modeling. This role will focus on creating and optimizing dashboards, automating financial processes, and developing statistically grounded forecasting models to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

II. Key Responsibilities:

P&L Management:

• Ensure accuracy of financial data during the month-end close, with a focus on P&L accuracy and efficiency.

• Conduct detailed P&L analysis, including unit costs, labor control, and business unit performance.

• Identify opportunities to streamline close processes through automation and data integration.

Analytics and Reporting:

• Design and automate comprehensive management reporting packages, including dashboards to monitor sales, gross margin, expenses, and productivity.

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using data visualization tools to provide real-time insights for the Management Team.

• Perform variance analyses against budgets, forecasts, and historical data to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Act as a business partner to the Management Team, providing actionable insights to optimize profitability.

Forecasting and Data Modeling:

• Build and maintain predictive forecasting models using statistical methods and data modeling techniques.

• Collaborate with Finance and Management to produce annual budgets and monthly forecasts grounded in quantitative analysis.

• Leverage advanced analytics to project business performance and assess strategic initiatives.

Process Automation and Systems Enhancement:

• Automate repetitive financial processes, such as report generation and data consolidation, to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Identify and implement systems improvements to enhance data accessibility and reporting capabilities.

• Support special projects focused on cost reduction, profit improvement, and technology integration.
