These are our current challenges and future goals:

At Glow25, we’re looking for a (Senior) Data Engineer to help build and evolve our data platform. You’ll design and maintain the pipelines and infrastructure that bring data from multiple systems into a central warehouse, supporting everything from day-to-day reporting to advanced analytics use cases. While you'll contribute to laying a solid foundation, the role also involves scaling and improving our data systems as the business grows. You’ll work closely with analysts, analytics engineers, and business teams to shape a modern and efficient BI setup.

This is where we need your support:

• Data Ingestion & ELT Automation: Connect and ingest data from a wide range of internal and external systems into our central warehouse. Automate ingestion and transformation workflows to ensure data is accurate, timely, and ready for analysis.
• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust batch and streaming pipelines that are designed for scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
• Infrastructure & Scalability: Design and operate infrastructure that supports efficient, cost-effective processing of growing data volumes - with an eye toward future growth and evolving business needs.
• Data Quality: Implement checks, monitoring, and documentation to ensure data is accurate and usable.
• Work with Other Teams: Collaborate with analysts, analytics engineers, and business stakeholders to support their data needs.

You have the following experience:

• Fluency in English is essential
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Cloud platform experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Data warehouse expertise with tools like BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Experience with batch and streaming technologies such as Apache Spark, Flink, or Kafka.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster.
• Skilled in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.
• Solid understanding of ELT architecture, data modeling, and analytics engineering workflows (e.g., dbt or Dataform).
• Experience in building self-service data environments and working cross-functionally with product, analytics, and business teams.
• Comfortable operating as a generalist across engineering, strategy, and analytics domains.
