DevOps Engineer

Persona AI is developing and commercializing rugged, multi-purpose humanoid robots that perform real work. Your Role:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Pulumi and Terraform.

• Develop and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines for a variety of software components, including simulation environments, control systems, and perception modules.

• Implement and manage containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) platforms to enhance application deployment and scaling.

• Collaborate with robotics engineers and researchers to understand their requirements, resolve issues, and deliver robust infrastructure solutions.

• Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to guarantee system health and optimal performance.

• Contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology aimed at improving the safety of humanoid robots in manufacturing.

• Continuously learn about the latest advancements in robotics software and systems architecture.

We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.

• Demonstrated ability to build and manage infrastructure on a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Pulumi or Terraform.

• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

• Strong understanding of networking principles within Linux and cloud environments.

• Solid programming skills, with an emphasis on object-oriented languages (Rust, C++, Python).

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to thrive in a dynamic startup setting.

Preferred or Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience supporting robotics development, including familiarity with ROS.

• Experience managing infrastructure for Machine Learning Operations (MLOps).

• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (VPCs, DNS, load balancing, firewalls).

• Proficiency in database administration (SQL and NoSQL).

• Prior experience in a robotics startup environment.
