Salary: National circa £95,000 / London circa £120,000
As a Data Architect, you will lead the end-to-end architecture design and implementation of enterprise data platforms and solutions. You will collaborate closely with business and technology leaders to translate strategic goals into actionable architectural blueprints. Your expertise will be instrumental in evaluating technologies, setting standards, and driving innovation. The role also includes mentoring team members and ensuring that all solutions support strong customer outcomes and long-term business objectives.
A bit about the job:
The Data Architect is responsible for providing expert guidance in the design and development of advanced data and technology architectures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in defining architecture strategies, optimizing processes, and selecting appropriate platforms and solutions.
- Lead the architecture and design of enterprise-wide data solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
- Work with stakeholders across business and IT to define data strategies, standards, and roadmaps.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in data modelling, governance, and integration across platforms
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to inform architectural decisions and improve system capabilities
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex data architectures in large-scale environments
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and data integration tools
- Deep understanding of data governance, security standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Experience with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and tools for documenting and managing architecture artifacts

- National salary circa £95,000, London salary circa £120,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
