As an ML Engineer at Oracle MADC , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Oracle offerings. You will be part of an innovative team who works with cutting-edge technologies to bring Generative AI capabilities into Oracle Database related products. In this role you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain large language models (LLMs) to create a Generative AI application based on textual inputs, ensuring it meets the high standards required by Oracle.
- Perform data processing, cleansing and quality verification (Data Engineering)
- Ensure data curation by implementing proper labeling and classifications.
- Leverage NLP techniques to categorize textual inputs while considering different aspects such as NL intent complexities etc.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure the models' accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, applying innovative techniques and methodologies to continually enhance our systems.
- Engage with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of the project, from conception through deployment and ongoing maintenance, ensuring they align with our strategic objectives and deliver maximum value.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience developing machine learning algorithms.
- Extensive knowledge of large language models and natural language processing techniques.
- Good knowledge of SQL is a must.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex projects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software products within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes.
