What We’re Looking For?

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Algorithms Team Leader to lead our Computer Vision and Deep Learning team. This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical expertise, strategic thinking, and team mentorship to drive the development of cutting-edge AI-powered solutions.

As the Algorithms Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented algorithms developers in researching, designing, developing, and deploying advanced algorithms from research to scalable production systems. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the future of our AI capabilities and driving innovation within the team and across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing team of algorithm engineers in the fields of computer vision, deep learning, photogrammetry, and robotics. 
• Work hand-in-hand with both the CTO office and the product team to shape and execute our AI and algorithms roadmap, ensuring that our innovations translate into business impact. Represent the team in technical and strategic discussions, both internally and externally. 
• Serve as a key liaison between the algorithms team and other departments, ensuring alignment on plans, project goals, and deliverables with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and QA, to ensure alignment on project goals and successful integration of AI features.
• Oversee the full algorithm development lifecycle—from concept and research to implementation, integration, and deployment. 
• Contribute to the development of intellectual property, including patents and technical publications. Identify new trends and drive adoption of state-of-the-art techniques to maintain our leadership in the domain.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering or software development, with at least 5 years in algorithm development.
• 2+ years of experience leading algorithm or AI teams, with a proven ability to mentor and manage technical talent.
• Hands-on expertise in developing deep learning algorithms using frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong coding skills in Python and familiarity with classic computer vision and image processing techniques.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: object detection, segmentation, pose estimation, robotics, anomaly detection or 3D graphics
• Proven track record in leading projects from research to scalable, production-ready systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative, can-do attitude.
