What does a successful Cloud Data Engineer do at Fiserv?

The Cloud Data Engineer is a vital part of our Contact Service Technology team. In this role, you will develop and implement sophisticated business intelligence solutions within a cloud environment. A successful candidate is adept at working with Azure, Snowflake, and data-related programming, while effectively partnering with business stakeholders, external clients, and other development resources to enhance our data capabilities.

What you will do:

• Develop and implement advanced business intelligence solutions in a cloud environment.
• Collaborate with business partners, external clients, and development teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Utilize tools and technologies such as Azure Services, Azure SQL, Snowflake, SSRS, ADF, SSIS, Cognos, Power BI, and Python.
• Ensure data solutions meet performance, security, and scalability standards.
• Maintain and enhance existing data systems and solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.

What you will need to have:

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering within cloud environments, specifically Azure Services, Azure SQL, and Snowflake.
• 2+ years of experience with data-related programming languages and tools, including Python, SSRS, ADF, SSIS, Cognos, and Power BI.
• 2+ years of experience in developing and implementing business intelligence solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent military experience.
• Current Fiserv systems experience.

What would be great to have:

• Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.
• Experience ensuring data solutions meet performance, security, and scalability standards.
• Proven ability to work effectively with business partners, external clients, and development teams.
