​​Responsibilities: ​ 

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Finance Technology & Data Integration to join the US Gross-to-Net (G2N) Finance team. This position will play a critical role in building scalable data infrastructure (including data lakes), enabling advanced planning platforms (e.g., Anaplan), and ensuring high-quality data availability across systems. This role will also be expected to develop expertise in Anaplan, supporting the shift toward connected planning and scalable modeling solutions. 

  • Data Architecture & Engineering: Design, build, and scale data pipelines and structures—such as contributing to or expanding the enterprise data lake—to support financial planning and Gross-to-Net (G2N) processes. 

  • Integration & Automation: Develop robust data integrations between planning tools (e.g., Anaplan) and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HCM), ensuring clean, accurate, and timely data flow. 

  • Planning Systems Enablement: Collaborate with Anaplan model builders and finance stakeholders to deliver structured data and evolve the connected planning ecosystem. 

  • Change Management & Enablement: Learn and support the implementation of Anaplan as a strategic planning platform, including hands-on involvement in model design and use-case development.  

 

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance systems, data engineering, or enterprise planning technology 

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Lake, AWS, GCP) 

  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Proficiency in SQL and ETL tools or data pipeline development​.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable design

    Effective communicator and collaborator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Demonstrated organizational, project management, and prioritization skills  

  • Experience working with or supporting Anaplan applications 

  • Understanding of model building, application lifecycle management (ALM), workspace management, and performance tuning

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies

  • Experience building a Center of Excellence or governance framework 

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus

  • Flexible role with onsite expectations of 3 days per 5 day work week

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$122,250 - $179,300
