LCCI Business Insights & Analytics – Lead Consultant, IBU Analytics

The BI&A (Business Insights & Analytics) team was established to support business decisions for commercial and marketing functions globally. The team located out of the Bangalore office (LCCI) possesses diverse backgrounds and skills in data engineering, analytics, data sciences, business, and commercial operations.

The IBU (International Business Unit) analytics team focuses on providing analytics solutions to geographies outside of the US. This role is focused on adapting global analytics priorities to the Indian affiliate to help provide analytics support for recent and upcoming product launches in India

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate 5 key global analytics objectives (listed below) for the India market
    • Standardized Data Model & Data Governance
    • Standardized Reporting & Dashboards
    • Marketing Mix Models
    • Segmentation to Power Content & Personalization
    • Content Auto-Tagging & Creative Effectiveness
  • Build and exhibit deep data expertise on available datasets (internally available as well as data from external vendors) to support data enabled decision making
  • Develop and maintain high quality, interactive dashboards to enable brand managers and leadership to track performance
  • Work on prescriptive and predictive analytics to answer unstructured and open-ended questions from business stakeholders with varying levels of technical know-how
  • Develop into a trusted advisor by actively participating in various phases of the project including kick-off, methodology development, execution, insight generation and presentation to various stakeholders
  • Find and execute opportunities for driving growth within the India business by providing timely data and analytics support

Required Skills and Expertise:

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in writing and debugging efficient SQL queries, Python or R (one of them), Excel and VBA
  • Experience in designing, developing, and deploying Reports, Dashboards, and Apps in Power BI including
  • Alteryx/KNIME experience is highly desirable
  • Handson experiences working on advanced analytics projects will be desired
  • Prior experience working on AI projects would be beneficial
  • Experience with the following technologies: Cloud platforms like AWS & Azure
  • Experience in business analytics tasks like data cleaning, preparation, and basics of good reporting
  • Experience in pharmaceutical forecasting is good to have.

Business Integration Skills

  • 12+ years of evolving experience in business/market intelligence, performance reporting, and descriptive analytics for Marketing or other commercial leadership, with demonstrated results in understanding, structuring, and making sense of unfamiliar and messy datasets in the pharma Industry
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp business dynamics and data constraints, and propose effective analytics solutions tailored to regional needs.
  • High learning agility with a proven track record of adapting to new challenges and environments swiftly.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an international matrix environment
  • Exposure to advanced analytics techniques is not mandatory but would be preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work remotely across time zones
  • Excellent prioritization and project management skills to be able to work on multiple priorities simultaneously and communicate expectations to stakeholders clearly

Education

  • Master’s degree in sciences or quantitative discipline, i.e., Econometrics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Sciences preferred but not mandatory
