Overview

The Data Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining databases and tools supporting the program and administrative operations of the Center for Developmental Behavioral Health.

 

Responsibilities

1. Develop, manage, and maintain data collection and analysis systems (e.g., REDCap, Qualtrics, PowerBI) to improve clinic intake process, triage, productivity, data quality, and efficiency.2. Modify existing data collection systems as needed to provide accurate management reports (i.e., improve system design and perform data integration processes).3. Migrate existing legacy systems to newer technologies, systems, and/or databases.4. Develop reports and interactive data dashboards for Center for Developmental Behavioral Health (DBH) program staff and administration using available and appropriate tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, REDCap, and Qualtrics.5. Identify patterns, trends, and outliers in large data sets. Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations that improve the quality of patient care, employee performance, and program outcomes.6. Forecast future trends in patient outcomes, workforce management, and other measures related to unit and departmental goals.7. Define the data governance policies related to data management (e.g., roles, access), data quality (e.g., accuracy, consistency), data operations/strategy (e.g., workflow, process needs), and data platforms (e.g., software, tools).8. Create electronic data capture forms within existing platforms and setup push functionality of data capture forms for regular data collection and monitoring.9. Review and adjust incoming and outgoing data extracts (e.g., removing duplicates, correcting errors) in databases. Create and/or manage processes to back up department data into the appropriate database(s) in a manner that is consistent and automated.10. Effectively collaborate with clinicians and managers to develop support tools that help make better decisions about patient care and staff performance.11. Participate in the development of new projects by identifying appropriate software and how it can best be used to serve the needs of the program. Write, modify, and test programming.12. Research and recommend programming and software to provide optimal and cost-effective technology solutions to improve efficiency and functionality. 13. Utilize research-based assessments and tools to identify areas where processes and procedures can be improved.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:• Bachelor’s degree required.• Master’s degree preferred.

 

EXPERIENCE:• Minimum 2 years of related experience required.• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral disorders is highly preferred.

 

Minimum pay range

USD $56,157.50/Yr.

Maximum pay range

USD $97,597.76/Yr.
