Job Description

The Data Infrastructure team at Visa Global Open Banking provides the infrastructure, tools, and pipelines needed to support our organization’s data-driven applications. Our mission is to ensure that data is collected, transformed, and presented in a secure, timely, reliable, and cost-efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain large-scale, cloud-based data services.

• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and processes.

• Monitor and ensure the reliability and performance of the data infrastructure.

• Implement and enforce best practices for data security and compliance.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Proven success in designing, building, and managing large-scale, cloud-based services.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience in an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) environment (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Go, or Python.
• Experience with data warehouse tools (e.g., dbt, Apache Airflow).
• Strong understanding and experience with Cloud Security best practices.
