Who We Are Looking For?

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure systems and infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments

• Develop automation scripts and security tooling using Python to reduce manual processes

• Conduct security reviews and enforce compliance with OWASP standards and best practices

• Perform regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments

• Configure and manage firewalls and other network security tools

• Respond to security incidents and manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) workflows

• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to embed security in the SDLC

• Contribute to audits, compliance documentation, and security policy development

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles

• Strong programming skills in Python for automation and custom tooling

• Deep understanding of OWASP standards and web application security principles

• Proven experience securing cloud environments and managing IAM, encryption, and compliance

• Hands-on experience with firewalls and network defense strategies

• Understanding of penetration testing practices and common exploitation techniques

• Familiarity with SIEM platforms for monitoring and incident response

• Comfortable working in remote-first Agile teams with strong communication skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with tools like Metasploit, Nessus, or Burp Suite

• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or similar

• Experience supporting compliance efforts (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR)

• Knowledge of DevSecOps and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines

• Exposure to securing containerized environments and Kubernetes clusters
