Technical Architect

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of client-facing applications and scalable, responsive architectures
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automation, conduct code reviews, and enforce high-quality coding standards
- Architect and deliver secure, scalable enterprise solutions for mission-critical environments
- Apply federal security best practices throughout the development lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with federal enterprise frameworks and related policies, knowledge of ATO best practices
- Develop and assess system architectures, modernization strategies, and technical roadmaps using COTS, open source, and emerging technologies (e.g., Zero Trust, ServiceNow, AI/ML, edge computing)
- Translate complex mission requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI/ML, cloud, infrastructure, DevSecOps, applications) to ensure cohesive, integrated delivery
- Serve as a trusted advisor to federal stakeholders, facilitating architecture reviews, deep dives, and alignment with agency strategies
- Possess responsive design skills and implement solutions within secure cloud environments
- Maintain deep technical fluency across software, cloud, data, and security domains, with a commitment to staying current with evolving technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, or Data Science, or a related field
- Experience with Full-stack development, architecting web-based solutions using Python, JavaScript, and Node.js
- Experience with database management with SQL and NoSQL
- Experience with RESTful API integration, including POST/PATCH/CURL commands
- Experience with Git and modern DevSecOps tools for automation, containerization, orchestration, and deployment
- Knowledge of machine learning, including model development with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, and optimization using Pandas and NumPy
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Experience with infrastructure as code IaC, Terraform, Pulumi to automate the creation of websites
- Experience in front-end frameworks like React, Vue, and Angular
- Knowledge of UI/UX and responsive design
- Ability to ensure compliance with federal enterprise frameworks and related policies, knowledge of ATO best practices
- Experienced in Agile, including iterative development and working with user stories in two-week sprints
- Must be a problem-solver with strong strategic thinking and communication skills to align technical solutions with mission objectives
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred
- Security+ (Sec+) certifications preferred
- Experience with implementing STIGs protocols; hardening systems for federal or DoD environment
- HYBRID (Local to DVM; able to go on site as required by customer or project)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance (Public Trust)
- This role supports a government agency which requires U.S. citizenship
