 As the Lead Marketing Analyst, you will be a key member of the Analytics team, providing valuable insights to drive Betsson's marketing strategies. You will analyze large datasets, generate actionable insights, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to support regional and cross-channel marketing decisions. This high-impact role requires a combination of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and strong stakeholder management. You will act as the go-to expert for translating complex data into clear, business-aligned recommendations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • KPI Metrics & Strategy: Develop a deep understanding of key performance metrics supporting branding strategies (e.g., sponsorships, brand ambassadors, influencers). 
  • Digital Acquisition Analytics: Analyze performance across digital marketing channels such as Paid Social, SEO, Affiliates, PPC, and their related technologies. 
  • Commercial Team Partnership: Serve as the primary analytics partner for regional commercial teams, working together to identify performance drivers and growth opportunities. 
  • Marketing Research & Analytics: Lead exploratory, descriptive, and predictive analytics using both qualitative and quantitative methods. 
  • Channel Performance Optimization: Identify underperforming areas across marketing channels and implement improvements to drive results. 
  • Data Models & Reporting: Build, maintain, and deliver data models, reports, and dashboards that highlight performance metrics, enabling prompt decision-making. 
  • Innovative Strategies: Develop strategies to solve complex marketing problems by uncovering trends, testing marketing approaches, and making data-driven recommendations. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with regional and channel-specific analysts to ensure alignment on execution and delivery. Participate in cross-functional projects and act as a business partner to internal teams.  

Requirements: 

  • Education: Minimum BA/BS in a relevant field (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent). A Master’s degree is a plus. 
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in analytics and marketing, ideally within the iGaming sector. 
  • Hands-on experience in marketing analytics (marketing mix modeling, campaign performance analysis, ROI estimation, LTV modeling, etc.). 
  • Experience with statistical modeling (e.g., regression analysis, A/B testing, significance testing) and familiarity with machine learning techniques (predictive modeling, clustering, decision trees). 
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Google Analytics (GA4), BigQuery, MySQL, and ETL tools (e.g., KNIME). Familiarity with scripting languages like R or Python is essential. 
  • Expert in visualizing complex datasets using tools like Power BI or Tableau. 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests from diverse stakeholders. 
  • Highly organized with the ability to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities. 
  • A curious, collaborative mindset and comfort in leading cross-functional initiatives.
