ABOUT THE TEAM
Anduril’s Atlanta manufacturing tooling and automation team is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our team. The tooling and automation team is responsible for the design, building, implementation, and maintenance of all the specialized automation equipment for the Atlanta manufacturing with am emphasis on production software. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to help define what automation looks like for Anduril Atlanta.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and implement software for seamless product integration, testing, and verification to enhance quality control
- Create and optimize machine logic control software to boost manufacturing efficiency and reliability
- Engineer and refine mechanical and electrical systems to streamline and improve manufacturing workflows
- Independently manage and oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring milestones are met and standards are upheld
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment issues, implementing solutions to maintain quality and ensure timely product delivery
- Collaborate with design engineers and production technicians to clearly define and understand product manufacturing requirements
- Proactively stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and integrate innovative improvements into manufacturing processes
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering,
Electrical Engineering - 3+ years of experience in an environment programming for manufacturing and
automation - Proficiency in Python and/or C++
- Proficiency in PLC programming (structured text, ladder logic, sequential function
charts) - Strong knowledge of ethernet based communication protocol
- Hands on experience troubleshooting automation equipment
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in an environment programming for manufacturing and
automation - Proficiency with CAD software
- Skilled in design of mechanical systems
- Skilled in design of electrical systems with experience designing industrial
electrical panels - Experience with CodeSys based PLC systems
US Salary Range$85,000—$127,500 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
