Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Senior Analytics Manager to join our Healthcare Analytics Team based in Bellevue, WA. In this role, you will own and develop analytics infrastructure, tools, and analyses which directly impact customer-facing products and features. You will achieve these goals by defining analytics requirements and delivering results in collaboration with Payments and Gift Cards orgs along with other cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate demonstrates outstanding skills analyzing large data sets, partnering with business customers, and turning analyses into actionable insights. This individual is highly proficient in developing and driving cross-functional project plans while being able to operate with minimal direction from leadership. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required as this role will lead analyses, share findings with business teams, and drive strategies that promote favorable financial and customer experience outcomes. What You'll do:

  • Partner with Payment & Gift Cards senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy that improves payments & gift cards operations.
  • Partner with business and product owners to document requirements, design experiments, and own analytics for multiple customer-facing feature launches and tests
  • Lead cross-functional payments and gift card programs, leading all aspects of data product development and ensuring alignment and accountability across business, engineering, and operational teams
  • Collaborate with finance, product, operations, and engineering teams to define and track key performance metrics, conduct root cause analyses, and proactively find opportunities to drive continuous improvement
  • Combine multiple data sources, including payments, clickstream, and customer transactional data, to build tools that enable improvements in customer experience and financial outcomes
  • Collaborate with Tech, Product, and data engineers to anticipate, drive, and communicate data infrastructure changes across enterprise data sets
  • Independently find opportunities for application of advanced analytical solutions, ultimately deploying these solutions independently
  • Mentor entry level business analysts

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics or a related degree with analytics and quantitative emphasis. 
  • Minimum 6 years of related work experience using data and analytics  
  • Strong communication skills with proven track record to translate large data sets into clear, written analyses with specific business recommendations
  • Proficiency in SQL and statistics
  • Advanced Excel skills 
  • Strong data visualization skills using software such as Tableau, Power BI, etc
  • Proven experience independently leading cross-functional projects, delivering results on tight timelines
  • Familiarity with Ecommerce payment processing, cost of payments, gift card issuance and redemption and associated KPIs
  • Detailed understanding of Financial KPIs, P&L statement, and accounting principles
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with speed and dedication
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Bonus:

  • Ecommerce or Retail experience leading payment operations and gift card program management strategies
  • Masters or equivalent advanced academic degree
  • Project Management Certification
  • Advanced technical skills using R, Python, or other programming languages
  • Data modeling experience in Merchandising, Finance, Retail/Ecommerce, Payments

 

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.   We offer different types of insurance, such as medical/Rx, vision, dental, life, disability, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and accident. Base Salary Range$155,500—$222,000 USD
