- Lead the analysis of current closing and reporting processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize advanced data analytics tools to reassess and optimize the technical closing and financial reporting processes.
- Implement and oversee automation solutions to streamline procedures and current manual excel workbooks, pivot tables, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new tools.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented solutions, providing strategic insights.
- Provide training and support to team members on new tools and processes.
- Assist in the preparation of complex financial reports and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Lead and participate in special projects as assigned by the department head.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in financial analysis, data analytics, and process automation.
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, PowerBI, Power Query, or similar.
- In-depth familiarity with technology tools for automation (e.g., RPA, AI, machine learning).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with business segments and other finance departments.
- Demonstrates accountability by following through on commitments and effectively managing competing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Additional hours may be necessary during peak periods to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Valid authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Pay Range for roles performed in NY: $100,000-$120,000 base salary per year. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, role and performance. The range listed is just one component of SCOR's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives.
