About The Role:

At Walr, our Data Analysts are the go-to experts for delivering client projects on time, to spec, and with top-notch quality. We’re looking for someone who’s detail-driven, highly organised, and ready to juggle multiple projects with a positive, can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use Walr’s data tools to analyse and tabulate market research data, and provide additional insights based on client requests.
• Partner with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, aligned with client expectations, and up to our quality standards.
• Take a consultative approach by suggesting improvements to survey design, flow, and alternative solutions to tackle challenges.
• Deliver high-quality work that’s thoroughly tested and checked.
• Keep multiple projects on track, meeting all deadlines without compromising quality.
• Be a reliable, collaborative team player, ready to step in and support others when needed.
• Share knowledge and train fellow team members to help them succeed.

Desired Experience:

• Experience: 3+ years in Market Research Operations and Cross Tabulation, with solid knowledge of tables and weighting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data tabulation/manipulation tools like Merlin, Quantum, SPSS, or similar. Strong command of Python, Numpy, and Pandas. Familiarity with advanced analytics is a plus.
• Data Expertise: Skilled in data validation and manipulation, with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, well-documented work.
• Consultative Approach: Able to provide valuable insights and suggest improvements to project workflows.
• Flexibility: Comfortable working across APAC, UK, and NA time zones, with occasional extended hours to meet project goals.
• Communication: Strong business-level English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Player: Collaborative, emotionally intelligent, and open to feedback, with a drive to learn and share knowledge.
• Problem Solver: Quick to identify challenges, adapt, and implement effective solutions.
• Education: Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
