UI/UX Design Intern

The opportunity

As a UX/UI and Marketing Design Intern at Adagrad AI, you’ll gain hands-on experience in creating interfaces and visuals that impact real users. You will be mentored by our Lead UX Designer and work closely with the Marketing and Product teams. This is a learning-driven opportunity designed to help you expand your skills while contributing to real product and brand initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product management team and stakeholders to develop user-centered designs for product UI.
• Create visual assets and graphics for marketing campaigns across social and digital platforms.
• Design layouts, illustrations, and animations that align with the Stellarview brand guidelines.
• Conduct and support user research, usability testing, and persona creation.
• Use prototyping tools to bring concepts to life for product and marketing demonstrations.
• Maintain organized files and design systems for scalable output.

Tools and Technologies:

• Figma, Adobe XD, Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Familiarity with AI tools like Vercel and Replit is a big plus – the candidate should know how to write effective prompts to speed up visual asset creation.

Skills and attributes for success

• 0–1 year of experience in design (internships/freelance work included).
• A portfolio is preferred, but not mandatory. Even sample work or practice projects are welcome.
• Basic understanding of design principles (visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, layout).
• Strong ability to execute fast with quality — a go-getter who learns quickly.
• Good communication skills and openness to feedback.
• Familiarity with UI/UX concepts like wireframing, user journeys, interaction flows, and responsive design.

Soft Skills:

• Focused, and self-driven.
• Can manage multiple deliverables efficiently.
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision once briefed.
• Strong collaborator who communicates well with product management team, marketers, and developers.
