What you'll be doing
As the Sr. Manager, Third Party Risk Data Analytics on the US Third-Party Governance Office (TPGO), you will lead our efforts in managing third-party risk through advanced data analytics and insights. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven governance frameworks, policies, and procedures that align with CIBC's strategic objectives. Your expertise in data analytics, insight, forecast and risk management will help us identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with third-party relationships, ensuring that our business operations remain secure and compliant.

How you’ll succeed
Data Analytics and Insights - Utilize data analytics tools and methodologies to analyze third-party risk data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights that inform risk management strategies.
Governance and Compliance - Support the development and maintenance of a comprehensive third-party risk governance framework that aligns with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation - Support the Oversight and Governance function through data analytics and insight in the for the execution of risk assessments for third-party vendors, identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies. Collaborate with business units to ensure that risk management practices are integrated into vendor selection and management processes.
Stakeholder Engagement - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Enterprise TPGO, control groups, second line of defense, internal audit, regulatory affairs, and operational teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to third-party risk management. Communicate risk trends, insights, and recommendations to executive management and other key stakeholders.
Regulatory Support - Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry trends related to third-party risk management. Provide guidance and support to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Who you are
You can demonstrate experience in Data Analytics with 6 - 9 years of experience as a strategic leader in Data Analytics, Data Modeling or a related field. You possess strong analytical skills that enable you to assess complex risk scenarios and provide actionable insights. It’s an asset if you have exposure to technology, cybersecurity risk, operations, or governance oversight.
