We are seeking a talented Junior Data Integration Analyst individual to join our Interface team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania as part of our local Tech Hub.
Marsh McLennan (MMC) has established its EMEA Technology Hub in Cluj, Romania, reflecting our commitment to innovation and excellence. This hub is central to our digital strategy, addressing emerging challenges and enhancing service delivery through advanced technology solutions that empower our clients and promote sustainable growth.
We will count on you to:
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript and Groovy is a plus
- Configure and troubleshoot Darwin for SSO access and data transfer between client and provider systems with minimal assistance
- Deliver basic tasks in Payroll Interfaces and Data Translation, including change requests and reports in DCL or other programming languages, following specifications
- Adhere to naming conventions and the Interface team's best practices when delivering requests
- Respond to medium-difficulty tasks assigned via the Jira Kanban Board and assist with ad hoc exercises
- Create and maintain "How to" pages on Confluence for interface topics and update peers on task status via Jira
- Implement and publish new provider SSO specifications on Confluence
- Acknowledge and apply data security standards
- Help plan and perform testing for new interface integrations as per best practices
- Understand APIs and two-way data connectivity between clients, benefit carriers, and Darwin
- Attend client calls with minimal support and engage in technical discussions
- Maintain an updated status of tasks using Jira and Confluence and own specific items from the annual Interface team plan
- Train new joiners and share knowledge with the team
- Propose new working methods or best practices to senior colleagues
- Be a subject matter expert in interfacing areas such as SSO, file transfer, APIs, data translation, and payroll interfaces
- Pass the Darwin Enablement Certification for external candidates
- Perform renewal of certificates and keys
What you need to have:
- Excellent communication both in English and Romanian
- Self-motivated and able to produce high-quality work with minimal supervision

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Committed to quality and thorough in approach to work
- Flexible and creative in managing effective delivery in challenging situations
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Familiar with project delivery methodologies like Agile
- Solid general IT knowledge with a desire to work hands-on with technology, including Microsoft servers, SSO protocols, file transfer protocols, and APIs
- Capable of engaging with technical subjects, capturing requirements, translating them for users, and maintaining documentation
- Experienced in interacting with users at all levels, both individually and in groups
- Able to interface with internal and external partners to drive efficiency, satisfaction, and profitability
- Skilled in planning and leading calls with clients and providers to discuss interface requirements
- Able to add value to configuration standards by improving and creating new ones for team efficiency
