Reporting Process Implementation Manager, Commercial

Job description:

As our Reporting Process Implementation Manager- Commercial, you will execute strategy for Commercial reporting and data analytics and will lead design and deployment activities supporting the end-to-end business processes for existing SAP live business sites.  You will be responsible for supporting commercial reporting and furthering those capabilities in partnership with the business stakeholders and Global Process governance owners/leads. You will engage divisional, shared service, and organizational SMEs to understand reporting requirements and deliver reporting solutions in support of business processes. As well as partner with multiple IT teams to lead design and delivery of best-in-class reporting solutions.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with business and IT to understand business requirements, identify the appropriate data sources and tools to deliver solutions with agility, flexibility and scalability as needed by the organization.

• Responsible for building relationships with and influencing stakeholders to educate, build consensus, make decisions, and execute plans and actions to ensure reporting objectives are accomplished and timelines are met.

• Orchestrate collaboration with Stryker enterprise functions to leverage domain expertise and capabilities and identify areas of opportunity.

• Demonstrate financial and domain area acumen to develop financial impacts for existing projects and evaluate new opportunities.

• Drive harmonized reporting best practice processes across all divisions and geographies.

• Responsible for guiding users through the reporting toolset strategy that best fit their specific reporting requirements

• Partner and collaborate with Global Process Governance Leads, Business Process Owners and business users to understand live site reporting needs and reporting impacts of solution or process changes.

• Develop deep knowledge of end-to-end business processes and associated data to drive the right reporting solutions the right way.

• Partner with IT functional process owners to ensure aligned understanding of end-to-end processes and associated data to be able to derive robust technical requirements for the design and development of reporting solutions.

• Responsible for planning, prioritizing, and managing design and minor deployment activities to ensure timely delivery within monthly release cycles.

• Lead discussions with data analysts and business stakeholders to identify opportunities where data analytics concepts can be applied to real-world business opportunities.

• Develop robust training materials and deliver training to business users.

• Provide support to business users regarding visualization tools such as SAP BusinessObjects and PowerBI.

• Requires the leadership of people and processes – building organizational capability, setting direction, delivering results, inspiring others, and developing talent.

• Mentor and coach seasoned data analyst colleagues in developing their skills in the same.

What you need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering or related field with applicable work experience.

• Minimum 8+ years experience in relevant field including responsibility for reporting and data analysis or designing and delivering reporting solutions.

• 2+ years of people leadership experience preferred.

• Master’s Degree preferred

• SAP Certification preferred

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience with SAP BW as well as SAP reporting tools, e.g. Business Objects, Analysis for Office, Web Intelligence, etc.

• Experience with Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse or related tools and techniques.

• Experienced/advanced in business intelligence and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Ability to recommend visualizations of data that empower key business stakeholders to more easily interpret complex information and quickly identify key insights.

• Familiar with data structures and programming languages central to data analytics (e.g., SQL, Python, R, DAX, M).

• Experienced/advanced in data governance concepts including the need for documented definitions, calculations, sources, lineage, etc. Advising and guiding organization of solutions.

• Familiar with data transformation and cleansing concepts and relational database and data modeling concepts.

• ERP implementation or business transformation experience preferred.

• Understanding of key SAP processes (OTC – Order to Cash) and general reporting strategy by function.

• Understanding of SAP data concepts and strategies to support efficient reporting.

• Demonstrated functional understanding of key SAP processes (OTC preferred) and the interrelationships, impacts and usage of reporting within the suite of applications.

• Experience collaborating cross-functionally in a global matrix structure and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Requires the leadership of people and processes – building organizational capability, setting direction, delivering results, inspiring others, and developing talent.

• Fluency in English required
