Business Operation Analyst

What Does a Successful Business Operations Analyst Do at Fiserv?

 

At Fiserv, we are committed to delivering innovative financial services solutions. As a Business Operations Analyst, you will support our mission by enhancing our proprietary applications and turning data into actionable insights. These include the Pricing Tool, the PST application and database, the Quality application and database, the Employee database and the Equipment Exchange database.  All require enhancements, maintenance, and possible future rebuilds to adhere to Fiserv corporate compliance policies as well as Well Fargo Pricing initiatives.

 

What you will do:

 

  • Manage and support proprietary business applications.
  • Ensure data integrity and accessibility through SQL database management and reporting.
  • Build and maintain SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) packages..
  • Administer, develop, and maintain applications.
  • Oversee Extract, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) processes.
  • Conduct server patching to ensure system security and compliance.
  • Generate accurate ad hoc reports in response to business requirements.
  • Engage in data modeling, statistical analysis, and data mining to extract actionable insights.
  • Participate in project management tasks and research initiatives.
  • Utilize machine learning techniques to enhance data analysis and reporting processes.

What you will need to have:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field with coursework in Business Analytics, Data Management, and Project Management.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Business Operations or a similar sector.
  • Familiarity with .Net and Power BI.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.).

What would be great to have:

 

  • Proficiency in SQL, including knowledge of SSIS and SSRS.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio, Python, JavaScript, C++, C#, and HTML.
  • Expertise in data modeling and statistical analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range:

$76,100.00-$103,300.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
