This position requires candidates to be onsite 3 days per week in Indianapolis, IN.
Cybersecurity Data Analyst | About You
As a Cybersecurity Data Analyst, you are responsible for supporting device management and endpoint systems while driving data-informed security decisions across platforms. You excel at troubleshooting across iOS, macOS, Windows, and Microsoft 365 environments, using logs and analytics to identify network and application behaviors. You effectively communicate cyber risks, balance security with business needs, and deliver scalable insights by leveraging AI tools and documentation. You work well independently and thrive in cross-functional, cross–time zone teams. You are also focused on aligning your work with broader cybersecurity and business objectives, ensuring measurable impact across the organization. Your technical expertise, critical thinking, and data fluency enable you to proactively identify threats and improve the reliability and performance of IT systems.
Cybersecurity Data Analyst | Day-to-Day
- Troubleshoot and manage device systems across macOS, iOS, Windows, and Microsoft 365 platforms.
- Troubleshoot both client and server systems to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
- Use logs, documentation, and monitoring tools to analyze network and application behaviors.
- Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and uncover insights for infrastructure support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and communicate cyber risks in line with business goals.
- Leverage vendor contacts, team collaboration, and publicly available documentation to investigate and document technical application behaviors.
- Ensure deliverables are met on time and aligned with strategic cybersecurity goals.
Cybersecurity Data Analyst | Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems support, network troubleshooting, or cybersecurity operations.
- Strong knowledge of IT device management and endpoint environments, including Microsoft 365.
- Proven ability to analyze logs and application behavior to troubleshoot network and system issues.
- Hands-on experience with data tools such as Power BI, AI-based analysis tools, or scripting for automation.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to assess and communicate cyber risk effectively.
- Strong time-management skills and a track record of delivering high-quality results on schedule.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working across cross-functional and global teams.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security, and familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO) are a plus.
