We are looking for a skilled Data Developer based in Sydney to develop and implement data solutions that support business objectives and improve performance. You will work closely with the Data Analytics team to build scalable, automated data solutions that enable robust analytics and visualisation.

Responsibilities:

• Understand business goals, objectives, processes, and challenges to develop data solutions that align with business needs
• Collaborate with the Analytics team to drive measurable improvements in business performance through data-driven insights
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the HUB24 data landscape to build efficient data solutions, including pipelines that consolidate multiple data sources into a unified, accessible layer
• Ensure data solutions are robust, automated, and scalable, reducing rework and minimising errors
• Assist in prioritising programs and ad-hoc requests to align with strategic objectives
• Partner with the broader team to design and develop new data assets that enhance analytics maturity
• Manage own resources and technical delivery, providing updates to stakeholders for effective project governance
• Engage with key business stakeholders to understand needs, identify valuable data assets, and develop insights to support client opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proficiency in programming with SQL and Python, with experience in Databricks, DBT, or similar cloud technologies
• Hands-on experience in data management, transformation, or data development
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
• Experience in managing or business partnering with multiple business units is desirable
• A background in Financial Services and/or Data Analytics Consulting is advantageous
